My little ones LOVE animals – so I decided to make this little Animal magnet game for them to do as a desk or a car activity.

First I did a simple 6×8 table in a word processor, then searched for animal pics on the internet. Pasting them directly into the table meant they immediately went to the correct size without me having to resize them manually.

I printed these and cut out each animal (while listening to teaching tapes with hubby!)

Then I stuck all the cut-out animals onto the sticky side of an full page magnet sheet.

We cut those out and hubby drew some cute little zoo, wild and African savannah scenes.

Then Brave Boy no 1 sorted all the animals into zoo, wild, bird park and farm animals.

Sorted!

We put them in ziploc bags and labelled them.

Now they have great fun creating little zoo, farm or wildlife pics on baking trays with the magnets.

It’s a hit!

I love the verse below about Jesus in the wilderness where it says he was “with the wild beasts” – they recognized their creator God and were not afraid nor fierce!

“And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him.” Mark 1v13
